Our clothes are for women who love style. The founder, Julia
was disappointed when pregnant with her first child that maternity clothes
were either impossible to find in Australia, or just not an option as far as
styles were concerned. Her background was in fashion manufacturing and
design so she began work on designing clothes for herself. The market did
not improve between her first and second pregnancies, and her three sisters
and friends were also having problems finding
stylish maternity clothing.
So was born Rushton Reid Maternity which she now runs with one of her
sisters, whose background is also in fashion and was pregnant during
production of their first range, 'Le Paradiso'.
The range is pitched to those women with similar lifestyles to their own.
They love being mothers but they also loved their pre children routines and
want to continue looking good to continue feeling great. They do not
understand why maternity wear has to be less than Fashionable. Their
Paradiso range is timeless and stylish and consists of styles not normally
associated with maternity wear. It is fashionably styled in wonderfully soft
contemporary fabrics and colours. Their range covers all aspects of a
woman's life and allows for total flexibility to create many different looks
with the clever use of this season's accessories.
There is a Chorus Ensemble, a pair of Cargo Pants, a pair of
dark denim 70 style jeans, a pair of white summer 70 style jeans, a
Carnivale Dress, suitable for summer teamed back with either flat sandals or
high wedges, or draped over a pair of jeans for a boho look, the soft chic
and amazingly elegant Babette Dress which is perfect for the more dressy
occasion, a Texan Shirt and two equally great smock tops, the beautiful
Chemise and fun Papillon Top.
